The artistes

Nicole Mattei, a native of Marseilles has, since the age of 7, lived in the pretty village of Ménerbes in the heart of the Luberon. She initiated herself with the visual arts, utilising the materials and colors discovered during her many travels in Europe and the East. It is many years since she chose to specialise in mosaic, which she administers with great finesse. She offers you introductory courses or courses to improve your skills, in her workshop, on the wooded slopes of her Ménerboise house.

Stéphane Gallard was born into a family of decorators and artists in Tours in 1959.
At an early age he worked in sculpture and painting and exhibited his work on the French Riviera.
He then settled in Vaucluse, attracted by the soft stone which is of good quality and readily accessible. Today, he honestly believes he can teach you his craft, so all the styles of sculpture he applies, can also be yours.
